Exhibits to be in place Wednesday evening, 9:00 pm
Judging Thursday morning at 9:00 am
Prizes: 1st $6.00, 2nd $4.00, 3rd $3.00
All grains and seeds – 1 litre
Limit one entry per section per person in class 48
Containers to be supplied by exhibitor

1. Slice hay, 1st cutting, alfalfa (must be 80% pure)
2. Slice hay, 1st cutting, A.O.V., correctly named
3. Slice hay, 2nd cutting, alfalfa (must be 80% pure)
4. Slice hay, 2nd cutting, A.O.V., correctly named
5. Winter wheat – soft white
6. Winter wheat – soft red
7. Winter wheat – hard red

8. Haylage, 10 lbs
9. Soybeans, clear or yellow hilum
10. Soybeans, dark or colour hilum
11. Corn silage, 10 lbs
12. Three ears, Indian corn, tied together
13. Corn shelled, yellow
14. Corn shelled, white

 

*Sec 15-20: All ears must have butt-end trimmed
15. Ten ears ‘18 crop – 3200 heat units & above
16. Ten ears ‘18 crop – 3150 heat units & below
17. Ten ears ‘19 crop – 3150 heat units & below
18. Ten ears ‘19 crop – 3200 heat units & above
19. Ten ears of sweet corn – A.V. correctly named
20. Ten ears of popcorn – A.V. correctly named
21. Tallest stalk of corn, best foliage and ear included. 50% foliage, 50% ear. Root must be clean and ear exposed
22. Sunflower seeds, 1 litre
23. Sunflower with most heads (must be counted by the exhibitor), root removed
24. Best single sunflower head
25. Sorgum stock – best foliage 40%; best stock 60%; roots must be clean
26. A.O.V. grain correctly named, 1/2 litre

Exhibitors that register by the deadlines will receive a FREE WEEKEND PASS when bringing in their entries.

Exhibitors that register after the deadlines will receive a DAY PASS ONLY when bringing in their entries.

(Note: The Fair Board reserves the right to refuse any entry form.)

Children 12 and under: FREE

PASSES: Available at Office for $25.00 (unlimited admission to the grounds for the duration of the Fair)
