There’s something special about this time of year — when the fairgrounds begin to fill again and we’re reminded just how important traditions like the Harrow Fair are to our community. Whether you’ve been coming for decades or are visiting for the first time, we’re glad you’re here to be part of it.

The Harrow Fair has always been about more than exhibits and entertainment. It’s about showcasing the pride people take in what they grow, build, bake, and create. It’s about friendly competition, shared stories, and the simple joy of spending time together.

One of the things I appreciate most about the Harrow Fair is the dedication behind the scenes. Our volunteers, fair board members, exhibitors, sponsors, and community partners all play a vital role in making this event a success year after year. This weekend, I encourage you to slow down and take it all in — walk through the barns, check out the exhibits, support our local participants, and enjoy the atmosphere that makes our fairgrounds feel like home.

If you’re planning to enter an exhibit, cheer on a competitor, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, I hope you take full advantage of everything the fair has to offer. And if you happen to see me around, feel free to say hello — I’ll likely be nearby, making sure everything is running smoothly ... or sampling something delicious.
